5.    Public Relation Officer

Reports to     : Board of Directors of Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOSF)

Main Tasks    : Develop and communicate the policy and activity of BOSF toward various level of audience in both written and verbal; maintain good communication between BOSF with it related parties; develop and manage and ensure the effectiveness of means and media of communication of BOS.

REQUIREMENT S

1.      Advanced in writing and verbal English Communication skills is a must;

2.    Graduated with bachelor / master degree in communication, PR or Biology from reputable university;

3.    Shows an outstanding ability in communication with various type of audience (general public, NGOs, Government entities, and International entities);

6. Satwa Manager

Main Tasks   : Manage BOSF’s Samboja Satwa Programmes, i.e. all orangutan and sunbear related activities in East Kalimantan, liaise with international and national donors to the Samboja programmes, and with stake holders on the regional and national levels, full budget responsiblity.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Training in Biology, Veterinary Medicine, Psychology or Management (Masters or Ph.D. level)
  2. At least 3 years experience with managing multiple staff
  3. Proven management skills, incl. both project planning and improvising
  4. Proven leadership skills towards direct reports, peers, and bosses
  5. Fluent Indonesian and English language skills, spoken and written

Main Tasks  :To provide top level care for all orangutans in the programme by setting the standards for daily routine operations, husbandry, and rehabilitation, and to manage the Samboja orangutan population by directing the supervisors for unreleasable and releasable orangutan care, and by collaboration with the Coordinators of Veterinary Medicine and Technical Services.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Training in Zoology (Masters or Ph.D. level)
  2. Thorough understanding of ape behaviour and psychology
  3. Networking with experts and professionals
  4. Project management and leadership skills.
  5. At least 2 years experience with managing multiple staff

  1. Minimum S1 (Bachelor’s) degree in Zoology or Psychology
  2. Practical knowledge of orangutan behavior and conservation
  3. At least 2 years of practical experience with rehabilitation/reintroduction of slow life history mammals
  4. Computer skills, especially MS office and emailing
  5. Fluent Indonesian and English language skills, spoken and written

  1. Education and at least 3 years of experience in either metal work or construction.

11.Veterinary Care Coordinator

Reports to     : Samboja Satwa Manager

Main Tasks     : To provide top level veterinary care for all orangutans and sunbears in the programme; design and implement a preventive health programme; collaboration with the Coordinators of Veterinary Medicine and Technical Services.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Dedication and a strong sense of responsibilty
  2. Learn to individually recognise the orangutans and sunbears within 2 months
  3. Fluent Indonesian and English language skills, spoken and written
  4. Understanding of zoonotic diseases and their prevention
  5. Basic understanding of immunology
  6. Basic knowledge on test procedures for parasites, bacteria and viruses
  7. Ability to effectively and positively interact with people in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment

Scope of Work
The specialist will work with the South Asia A2F team with particular focus on microfinance and e-banking. He/she will have the following key responsibilities:

· Serve as content specialist for microfinance and e-banking for India and resource for IFC's work in South Asia
· Facilitate advisory and investment business in microfinance, e-banking, and/or other A2F products depending on specific projects assigned

· Lead existing technical assistance projects in microfinance and e-banking in IFC's portfolio, including developing excellent client relations, designing projects for meaningful development impact, and ensuring IFC procedures are respected
· Play a catalytic role in developing the pipeline for IFC's investment and advisory activities across the product lines in access to finance, either as support or as task team leader on specific projects in India and the region
· Assist in (or when task team leader, be responsible for) the identification, negotiation and preparation of new technical assistance projects and procuring consulting services for IFC clients in access to finance projects
· Participate actively in joint appraisal teams working on new advisory and investments in access to finance

The position will be based in Delhi or Mumbai, and depending on the final location, the candidate must be willing to relocate.

This position is created to ensure appropriate oversight over the WASH Program and ensure monitoring and evaluation system in place. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

Monitoring and Evaluation

• Provide and improve M&E system for monitoring & evaluation of WASH Project in coordination with relevant sector staff.
• Ensure that progress, impact and other qualitative and quantitative monitoring systems are implemented timely as per schedule and they strictly follow the implementation schedules.
• Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data that relevant with Design, Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Reporting of Wash Program Implementation.
• Ensure that all staff has the uniformity in understanding and implementation of monitoring tools and techniques; apply all the same formats and indicators.
• Responsible in the evaluation and impact analysis of Wash Program with relevant monitoring information.
• Responsible in qualitative and quantitative research activities that conducted by Monitoring Evaluation Unit.
• responsible in gathering beneficiaries information and manage the beneficiaries database

Reporting

• Ensure that each actor of the M&E system of the program is utilizing the standard reporting formats, and reporting on the agreed indicators at input-output, outcome, and impact level.
• Ensure that progress recording and reporting systems are in place and well functioning in filed and that output reports are produced regularly and on time, at least monthly.
• Responsible in producing monthly summary progress reports as management tools and as a tool for accountability to the donors. The indicators against which progress and performance of Wash will be measured will be those of the Wash Logframe; the progress report standard format for internal reporting and sharing; the government's standard format and donors standard format , where required.
• Responsible in producing lesson learned, Finding from field, Case studies, Success story and Working Paper that Appropriate agreed format and information requirement.

• Setup and ensure the Complain and feed back mechanism for community in place and respond timely to community.
