Fauna & Flora International promotes biodiversity conservation through mainstreaming environmental issues in agricultural practices in particular in oil palm sector and throughout selected supply chains. Fauna & Flora International works through private sector partnerships with selected companies which are committed to reduce their impact on biodiversity and improve their environmental management practices.

Scope of the Work:

The Biodiversity and Sustainable Oil Palm Officer will work closely with Kalimantan Conservation Program to oversee the assessment of high conservation value forest as well as areas suitable and not suitable for oil palm development at landscape level, socialize RSPO to stakeholders at the district level, facilitate the establishment of district and provincial roundtables, and the adoption of RSPO principles by private sector partners and local government planners. The specialist will also assist with environmental assessment of selected companies and verify the legality of current operations overlapping with critical biodiversity areas.

Detailed Description of Activities:

Under coordination of Biodiversity and Agricultural Commodity Specialist Coordinator, the BSPO Officer need to:

· Identify and meet with key organizations who have undertaken work relating to palm oil mainly in (but not limited to) West Kalimantan (focused on Ketapang and Kapuas Hulu district) and Central Kalimantan (Murung Raya district). Conduct review of all existing materials and projects ongoing or planned relating to the sector.

· Where information currently exists, review materials relating to land availability and land suitability for palm oil – create a map of potentially appropriate areas for new palm oil development. Document key peat land areas in project districts and document areas not suitable for palm oil production.

· Meet with RSPO Indonesia Liaison office (Jakarta), understand RSPO initiatives in Indonesia and development strategies for Kalimantan fit into the overall RSPO initiative. Review RSPO guidelines and criteria and document key environmental and social consideration which should be considered

· Liaise with GAPKI (the association of Indonesian oil palm producers) to develop RSPO membership in FFI project areas

· Support facilitation of consultation workshops with private sector, government and civil society organizations companies to socialize and raise awareness of the RSPO process and seek input on the feasibility of the proposed plan.

· Facilitate the establishment of RSPO working groups at regional level (province/ district)

· Undertake desk work to identify best practice models from elsewhere in Indonesia or Malaysia

· Participate in regional RSPO meetings and present FFI’s partnership projects

· Identify potential new private sector partners

· To regularly document all findings in a report in addition to making presentations to the FFI team and partners on findings

The Position
Under supervision of Functional Unit/Project Leaders, the Marketing Specialist is providing services in planning and implementation of agroforestry marketing strategies, including certification of special agroforestry products. This task includes involving overall project activities, designing and implementing the research activities, support in establishing and facilitating partnerships, liaising with partners, donors, ICRAF staff in SEA and other staff in other regions, and ICRAF management.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to perform the summary tasks as follow :
§ Design and implement marketing research activities, field surveys, value chain and sector analysis, studies of supply-demand and trade.
§ Assist with the development of marketing strategies and approaches, certification procedures (such as eco-certification, fair trade, organic products), preparation of research proposals, publishing results, etc.
§ Provide market-related input, including: impact assessment, market information systems, collective action, post-harvest processing, and enterprise development
§ Manage marketing databases and analyze data

Scope of Work
The specialist will work with the South Asia A2F team with particular focus on microfinance and e-banking. He/she will have the following key responsibilities:

· Serve as content specialist for microfinance and e-banking for India and resource for IFC's work in South Asia
· Facilitate advisory and investment business in microfinance, e-banking, and/or other A2F products depending on specific projects assigned

· Lead existing technical assistance projects in microfinance and e-banking in IFC's portfolio, including developing excellent client relations, designing projects for meaningful development impact, and ensuring IFC procedures are respected
· Play a catalytic role in developing the pipeline for IFC's investment and advisory activities across the product lines in access to finance, either as support or as task team leader on specific projects in India and the region

• Responsible in producing monthly summary progress reports as management tools and as a tool for accountability to the donors. The indicators against which progress and performance of Wash will be measured will be those of the Wash Logframe; the progress report standard format for internal reporting and sharing; the government's standard format and donors standard format , where required.
• Responsible in producing lesson learned, Finding from field, Case studies, Success story and Working Paper that Appropriate agreed format and information requirement.

The PBI Indonesia Project www.pbi-indonesia.org (IP) provides protective accompaniment services and peace education activities with local groups in Indonesia upon request. PBI began working in East Timor and Indonesia in 1999 when conflicts led to invitations for a PBI presence by local groups and the National Human Rights Commission. PBI protects the work of local civil society organisations so that they can look for solutions to conflicts in their country. We do not intend to substitute for local groups, but rather to give space and support for their work. Participatory Peace Education encourages people to make new responses to conflict situations in their daily lives. The activities use the local context and explore local models for conflict transformation.
Field Officer (Volunteer)

Peace Brigades International Indonesia Project

Location: Indonesia (Jakarta or Papua)

What we Offer
The PBI Indonesia Project offers an opportunity to work for 12 months (this can be extended by a further 3 months if mutually agreed) in one of the IP project teams working on "making space for peace". IP volunteers have an opportunity to work in close contact with local NGO's and communities, as well as to develop skills in networking with all levels of governmental bodies. We also offer:
Flight to Indonesia from your home country, and flight home at the end of your contract
Accommodation in a PBI field team house, food and all living expenses covered
Monthly stipend of approximately USD$150.00
4 weeks/annum paid vacation, with vacation stipend of$75/week.
Comprehensive health insurance including reimbursement for medications
Repatriation allowance of USD1392 following completion of an 12 month contract (USD1740 on completion of 15 month contract)
Subsidised Indonesian language training: volunteers pay $1500 tuition and may take as many lessons as needed to achieve the required level. This usually takes about 4 months of full time study (individual arrangements can be made for Volunteers who already have Indonesian language skills and need substantially less training).
A 9 day intensive training session prior to joining a project. (Training costs are heavily subsidised, but trainees are asked to pay a training fee (sliding scale based on income) and the travel expenses.

Selection process:
PBI Indonesia Project selection process involves two major steps. First, applicants need to send in application forms along with letters of reference. This is followed by an interview over skype or telephone. Second, applicants are invited to take part in the PBI Indonesia project training. Training enables applicants to see if there is a good match between PBI and their interests and skills.

Qualifications:

2. Program Manager – Global Citizen Corps (GCC)
The Program Manager (PM) for the Global Citizen Corps Program (GCC) will lead the overall implementation of GCC activities in one of the multiple countries involved. I. Organizational Context

Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is a United Nation agency which provides technical assistance in Indonesia. One of our projects since 2006 provides support for the control of Avian Influenza, in cooperation with national and regional Indonesian government livestock authorities. Project activities are conducted in various locations nationwide.
The National Technical Advisor on National Poultry Quality Improvement Program (NPQIP) shall operate under the overall guidance and responsibility of the FAO Chief Veterinary Officer, the general technical supervision of the Emergency Centre for Transboundary Animal Diseases (ECTAD) Regional Manager based in the Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (RAP), and the operational supervision of the Chief, TCES. The incumbent will be under the direct supervision of the Team Leader of the FAO HPAI Programme in Indonesia and the functional and administrative guidance of the FAO Representative, with technical guidance and backstopping of the Public-Private Partnership Project Manager (AGAH, FAO Rome) and the Public-Private Partnership Project Coordinator based in the Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (RAP). The incumbent will be responsible for facilitating the design of the National Poultry Quality Improvement Program (NPQIP), in close collaboration with the commercial poultry industry, Director General Livestock Services (DGLS), the FAO ECTAD Indonesia team and any other relevant stakeholders.

* Review the road map of the National Poultry Quality Improvement Program (NPQIP), which was prepared by the Indonesian Poultry Association in May 2009 and the comments and recommendations provided by stakeholders:
* Consult with stakeholders from the various poultry production systems, including Sector 1 integrated companies, Sector 2, broiler, layer producers and breeders, Sector 3, broiler, layer, intensive native chicken producers, and intensive duck producers, the public veterinary services and other relevant stakeholders on how to develop and further improve the NPQIP design;
* Develop an improved road map for the NPQIP in close consultation with all stakeholders, to be approved and finalized in a workshop organized by the incumbent and the National Technical Advisor (Veterinary Services);
* Advocate for buy-in from both the private and public sectors for joint activities within the NPQIP;
* Perform any other related duties as required.

III. Reporting

The consultant will have to prepare a draft final report in English on project activities under his/her responsibility at the end of his/her assignment. The reports will contain a complete review of activities undertaken and their outputs as well as outcomes (using performance indicators). Impact will also be assessed. A section on recommendations and lessons learned, presenting guiding principles for future interventions, will be included.
A separate final draft document on the National Poultry Quality Improvement Program will be prepared. The report should be submitted to ECTAD no later than two weeks after completion of the assignment in hard and electronic copies.

Lowongan The Fauna and Flora International' s Indonesia Programme (FFI-IP) - Nusa Kambangan Project Leader

The Fauna and Flora International' s Indonesia Programme (FFI-IP) and PT Holcim Tbk. has been developed the conservation strategy in Nusa Kambangan Island, Central Java through the High Conservation Value Forest (HCVF) assessment in this island as well as to develop a conservation approach to local government of Cilacap. The ultimate goal of the conservation work between FFI-IP and PT Holcim is to improve protection of limestone and lowland forest in Nusa Kambangan with two stake objectives of (i) develop a conservation plan for Nusa Kambangan; and (ii) develop a management plan for the Conservation Zone/ Green Belt in the Holcim Contract of Work Area.To achieve the conservation goal for Nusa Kambangan Island, a rapid and comprehensive biodiversity inventory need to undertake through the HCVF approach. Holcim has designated a conservation area in the form of a coastal green belt (forest covered limestone hills between the quarry and the coast) no conservation management plan for the green belt has been defined yet. The current biological monitoring system based on the initial environmental impact assessment does currently not provide sufficient information to monitor biodiversity (e.g. monitoring for bats and cave invertebrates does not identify species) of improve biodiversity management for the forests in the designated conservation zone. As the quarry is legally converting remaning intact limestone forests. Holcim's committment to conservation at the landscape level is off-setting the direct impacts of it's operation as well as mitigating any potential indirect impacts of it's operation in the surrounding landscape.

To start the activity of FFI's Nusa Kambangan project, a Project Leader to run and coordinate the project need to be immediately recruited. Nusa Kambangan Project Leader will be responsible for day to day activity of the project as well as to ensure the direction of the project to meet the targeted goal.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The FFI Nusa Kambangan Project Leader will be based at Holcim/Cilacap Office with the main scope of work is to lead, coordinate and control the project activities as planned under the project proposal to meet the specific goal and objectives.
TASKS:
• Preparing, setting up and launching the Nusa Kambangan field office in coordination with PT Holcim staff(s) in Cilacap;
• Undertake the office management of the project including administrative and financial planning, monitoring, implementation and regular reporting in day to day basis;
• Recruiting and hiring relevant staffs, experts and consultants as needed in relation to the project objectives and activities;
• Identify relevant stakeholders around the project site in relation to the project as well as develop a good relations, communications and partnerships with Holcim-Cilacap staffs, Local Government of Cilacap and identified stakeholders;
• With FFI's Supervisors and contracted experts, designing, planning and developing methodology for field assessment with focus on biodiversity (bird, mammal, herpetofaunan and vegetation), Karst ecosystem, camera trap and speology;
• Coordinating and monitoring the implementation of the assessment work in the scope of biodiversity, Karst ecosystem, camera trap and speology using the agreed methodology;
• Collect and keep all data obtained during the assessment and collate all the reports produced by contracted experts and consultants to develop conservation and management plans of Nusa Kambangan Forest and Karst ecosystems as well as recommendations to improve the existing current biodiversity protocol; and
• Conducting the stakeholders consultations to review and improve the documents of conservation and management plans of the area.
DELIVERABLES/ OUTPUTS:
• Biodiversity assessment reports for Nusa Kambangan and contract of work area
• Conservation plan for Nusa Kambangan agreed by stakeholders
• Conservation management plan for conservation zone in contract of work area
• Recommendations for improved biodiversity monitoring

which serve communities that have received only limited assistance, and were heavily impacted by the conflict between the Indonesian military and GAM.
In addition to the work in Aceh, AFSC works in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), and with youth in three different locations (Aceh, Yogyakarta, Ambon) in Indonesia.
This other work articulates and incorporates AFSC's commitment to a nonviolent approach to conflict and strategies for peace building. Basic goals are to strengthen the capacity of local organizations and to include work with youth.

Summary of Responsibilities:
The Program Team Coordinator assists the Country Representative in the overall program management and program direction, interpretation, and stewardship of AFSC country program resources. The Program Team Coordinator will particularly focus on oversight of AFSC's program activities in Aceh, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) and Youth For Peace. The Program Team Coordinator will also assist in supporting and training the team of staff to provide appropriate support to local partner NGOs, and to monitor program related spending. The Program Team Coordinator may at times serve as the official representative of the AFSC
in the absence of the Country Representative; and assists in management of contacts in Indonesia with government ministries, UN agencies, and local and international NGOs; and supports the staff in the absence of the Country Representative. Within the AFSC norm of collaborative decision making and mutual support, the Program Team Coordinator will function as part of the overall program management team, together with the Country Representative.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Country Representative to develop and implement the country program strategy
and plan for work in Indonesia.
2. Coordinate AFSC's field programs in Aceh, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) and with Youth,
assessing the needs of AFSC's local partners and resources for addressing those needs. Support and challenge the team of staff, to provide support and appropriate levels of oversight to partner
groups. Help to maintain the monitoring system for disbursement and accountability of funds.
3. Coordinate capacity building for local partners and staff in conjunction with the Capacity

4. Support the Country Representative in the development and preparation of proposals for
various donors, to ensure consistent stable funding for the program work of AFSC in Indonesia.
5. Support the Country Representative to develop and strengthen AFSC contacts in Indonesia. And articulate AFSC's basic philosophical and faith-based commitments, including the organization's commitment to a nonviolent approach to conflict and long-term strategy for peacebuilding. 6. Assist in the implementation of systems for staff development, performance planning
and review consistent with the vision, values and principles of the AFSC.
7. Work together with AFSC program and administrative staff to ensure fiscal management
of the programs, including oversight of budgeting and accounting procedures, as defined by the Government of Indonesia, AFSC and donor partners; oversight of contracts and materials, as needed.
8. Compile and coalesce reporting materials and stories from the program staff, in English, as required by the AFSC regional office, AFSC headquarters, donors, and key Indonesian authorities.
9. Seek opportunities within projects and activities to articulate and incorporate AFSC's commitment to a nonviolent approach to conflict and strategies for peace building.

Report to the Country Representative for Indonesia;

Qualifications:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the Chief of Party and other key personnel to implement, improve and maintain financial management policies, systems, structures, and procedures for the program.
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the finance office through supervision and management.
- Plan and supervise work of the program-related finance staff including tracking and monitoring of procurements and expenditures, and establishes and maintains an office purchasing, inventory, and requisition system.
- Coordinate compiling of project monthly financial reports for submission to the International Finance Controller and Chief of Party.
- Prepare project budget vs. actual reports on a regular monthly basis.
- Work closely with the Chief of Party to monitor the project budget.
- Assist project officers in ensuring compliance with RI procurements and field accounting polices and procedures, compliance with donor agreement and audit requirements.

Nike Inc. is a major publicly traded sportswear and equipment supplier based in the United States. The company is headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon, which is part of the Portland metropolitan area. It is the world's leading supplier of athletic shoes and apparel and a major manufacturer of sports equipment with revenue in excess of $18.6 billion USD in its fiscal year 2008 (ending May 31, 2008).

Environmental Management or Engineering Degree from reputable university with additional industry experience (especially footwear, sporting goods or apparel manufacturing) preferred
Graduates in other engineering disciplines will also be considered
3-5 more years of experience in the field of environmental management / engineering or other manufacturing improvement related work
Specialization in the minimization of manufacturing process related environmental impacts as well as experience monitoring and maintaining a manufacturing product or process, a plus
Knowledge of environmental theory, protocols, trends and jargon
Knowledge of and experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing / Toyota Production Systems, Six Sigma, etc, a plus
Excellent English, oral and written communication skills as well as competence in using computer software programs
Excellent organizational skill and ability to work with little or no direct supervision
Willing to travel outside Indonesia and work on the manufacturing production floor

Category Manufacturing Manager (CMM)
Applicants should have the following skills and qualifications:

Bachelor or Master Degree in Business, Engineering or related fields from an accredited University
Minimum 5 years footwear experience and at least 3 years overseas manufacturing experience or comparable cultural experience
Must be able to understand, forecast and communicate ideas, problems and needs across a complex matrix and with manufacturing business unit upper and middle management
Must be able to effectively manage and lead a diverse work team, multiple task and priorities, ability to work under pressure, be decisive, make decisions and be self motivated
Must be fluent in English with excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills
